In this spring I met Kaspar first time in our confirmation class in Tallinn. I had no idea he’s getting married back then. So we finished the class and not long time after I got an e-mail from Triin telling me they are having a cozy small wedding at Muhu Island close to Saaremaa. We arranged our first meet and what a surprise it was to see Kaspar there. He had no idea either, neither had I. So wonderful coincidence. I was especially thrilled to hear that they will expect only nine people at their wedding. Ah, love those small weddings the most.
When I was about to arrive in the morning to the wedding place at Muhu I saw a man walking down from the gravel road. Kaspar it was. He was heading to swimming and because it was already so hot at 9 am in the morning I of course joined – what can be better than to start the wedding day with a fresh swim? After the ceremony and before the grand dinner I proposed to go to swim again. Well, I was joking. Triin had a lovely dress, make-up and hair beautifully done and one can expect to hear “no” but they agreed so we went to swim again. Wonderful time, just wonderful.
I’m very happy for you Triin and Kaspar. What a great day it was!
